Welcome to Be My Guest! We are an online platform that connects hosts and guests for vacation rentals. By using our services, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions below.


1. Guest Responsibilities

1.1. The guest is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information at the time of booking.

1.2. The guest is responsible for adhering to property rules and local laws.

1.3. The guest is responsible for keeping the property clean and in proper condition during the stay.

1.4. The guest is responsible for complying with the host's cancellation policies.

1.5. The guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property during the stay.


2. Reservations and Payments

2.1. The guest must provide accurate and up-to-date information at the time of booking.

2.2. The guest must make payment at the time of booking, in accordance with the host's payment policies.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

3.1. The guest must comply with the host's cancellation policies.

3.2. In the event of cancellation, the refund will be made in accordance with the host's cancellation policies.

3.3. Be My Guest is not responsible for refunding any credit card fees or other transaction fees related to the cancellation.

3.4. If the guest does not make payment for the reservation within 12 hours of creation or 3 hours before check-in, our team is authorized to cancel the reservation without any fee.


4. Communication with the Host

4.1. The guest must maintain respectful communication with the host.

4.2. The guest must inform the host of any problems or damage to the property.

4.3. The guest must inform the host of any changes to the reservation, including changes in the number of guests or check-in and check-out dates.


5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. Be My Guest is not responsible for any damages or losses caused during the stay.

5.2. Be My Guest is not responsible for any damages or losses caused by hosts or other guests.

5.3. Be My Guest is not responsible for any damages or losses caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or other unforeseeable events.


6. Cancellation and Date Change Policies

6.1. If you cancel within 60 days of the reservation's check-in date, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the reservation.

6.2. If you cancel within 30 days of the reservation's check-in date, you will receive a partial refund of 50% of the reservation amount.

6.3. If you cancel within 30 days of the reservation's check-in date, you will not receive a refund.

6.4. For reservations falling during the New Year's or Carnival holidays, if canceled less than 60 days prior to the reservation date, the tenant will receive a 10% refund of the reservation amount.

6.5. In the event of a date change, provided the reservation is confirmed, the tenant may reschedule their reserved dates up to 7 days prior to check-in free of charge.


7. Damage Deposit

7.1. The tenant may be charged a deposit of up to R$1,000.00 (one thousand reais) in advance to cover any damages that may occur to the property or any items within it. If, after an inspection on the last day of the rental, any damage to the property or any items within it is found, the balance of the deposit will be used.
